Dog Day Afternoon promises to be THE place for the COOLEST canines in the entire DFW area! Have your pooch compete in the Doggie Bulldozer Contest, the Best Pooch Smooch Contest, Best Costume or Fastest Tail in Texas Contest! PROVE your pet is THE BEST in the Stupid Pet Tricks Contest or simply show off your good looks in the Pet/Person Look-Alike Contest. Entry fees are only $10. Your pet could win FREE micro-chipping or any one of the other terrific prizes. Enter your DOG and WIN!
Celebrate the coolness of canines with the many other dog lovers in the area at this FREE festival. Human and canine guests alike will enjoy a dunking booth with local celebs, Disc performances and even a first aid demo at the top of each hour.

Urgent Animals at the Irving Animal Shelter………..are you or anyone else you know or are affiliated with able to rescue, foster or help with getting them out before they are executed? There are so many beautiful animals who lose their innocent lives daily. I am in no way connected with this pound but I am only one person and feel so helpless with knowing the outcome of all these innocent, rejected, unloved animals. Plus the fear they must feel being in a harsh, cold, and scary place before they are painfully tortured as their lives are senselessly snuffed out.
