One of the highlights of the PGA Tour returns to Texas when the HP Byron Nelson Championship takes over the Four Seasons Resort Las Colinas in Irving next month, May 14-20. Nearly 250,000 golf fans are expected to attend and support this event which helps raise more than $121 million for children and families served by the Salesman Club Youth and Family Center.
The week-long affair begins with the Classic Pro-Am on Sunday, followed by the Champions Pro-Am on Monday. Tuesday sees the Opening Ceremony and the Byron Nelson Prize awarded and a youth golf clinic. The fun continues on Wednesday with the Gold Pro-Am at the TPC Four Seasons.
There are other attractions outside of golf including the lively KidsZone, HP Technology Zone and a special Pavilion After Dark Concert. The event culminates with the Award Presentation the following Sunday.
